7 Scalp Care Mistakes You're Probably Making

Your scalp is the foundation — when it's unhealthy, hair quality suffers regardless of what conditioner you use. But the enthusiasm has created a new problem: over-exfoliation. Using a scalp scrub every other day — or even every two days — disrupts the scalp's acid mantle, the thin layer of slightly acidic (pH 4.5-5.5) sebum and sweat that protects the skin from pathogens.
